Note: ANN EDGOOSE nee DOLTON 1739 or 1740-1786 Ann DOLTON's baptism at Gosberton or Pinchbeck in Lincolnshire in 1739 or 1740 has not been found. John EDGOOSE, grazier from Gosberton, and Ann DOLTON, spinster from Gosberton, were married at Gosberton on 21 September 1768. John EDGOOSE was buried at Gosberton on 27 May 1781. Ann EDGOOSE, widow of John EDGOOSE, administered his estate and Edward HARE, farmer of Gosberton, and Robert TYLER, yeoman of Gosberton, were named in the Administration Bond with her. (LCC Admons 1781) Robert TYLER of Gosberton married Ann EDGOOSE of Gosberton at Gosberton on 10 October 1781. Ann, infant daughter of Robert and Ann TYLER, was buried at Gosberton on on 7 June 1782. There is no record of her baptism at Gosberton. William, infant son of Robert & Ann TYLER, was buried at Gosberton on 9 October 1783. There is no record of his baptism ast Gosberton. Ann, wife of Robert TYLER, was buried at Gosberton on 20 June 1786 aged 46. The will of Robert TYLER of Gosberton, farmer and grazier, made on 19 March 1805: "I further give and bequeath unto my well beloved son in law John HEADGOOSE of the Parish of Walton near Wisbeach in Cambridgeshire the Sum of Ten Pounds of good and lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executor as above. Lastly I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Son in Law James HEADGOOSE of the Parish of Gosberton aforesaid, who now resides with me, and whom I also nominate, make, appoint and ordain the Sole Executor of this my Last Will & Testament, All my Estate, Effects, Goods, Chattels & Money possessed by me at the Time of my Decease my lawful Debts, Funeral Expenses, & the above Legacies being first duly discharged as the same shall become due; by the said James HEADGOOSE his Executors, Heirs and Assigns forever to be be possessed and enjoyed, without any Molestation, let or Hindrance from or by any person whatsover."
