  Joseph, son of John EDGOOSE, was baptised at Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire, on 25 January 1645/46. (PR) John EDGOOSE had married Rachell BIRD at Pinchbeck on 19 January 1631/32.
  Joseph EDGOOSE is not listed in the Hearth Tax returns for 1663 and 1665-66 but in 1673 he had one firehearth in Pinchbeck. (E179 140 805) (E179 140 754) (E179 140 791)
  In his will made in 1667 or 1667/68 John EDGOOSE of Pinchbeck refers to his son Joseph EDGOOSE. (LCC Wills 1668/188)

  In his will made on 20 April 1672 William SMYTH of Pinchbeck, yeoman, leaves two shillings and six pence apiece to "Joseph EDGOOSE, Jeremiah EDGOOSE, James EDGOOSE, Margret EDGOOSE and widow EDGOOSE their mother". (LCC Wills 1672/i/218)
