Note: MARY PEGG née EDGOOSE 1664-1716 Mary, daughter of Anthony and Frances EDGOOSE, was baptised at Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire, on 24 June 1664. Anthony EDGOOSE had married Frances CAWDRON at Pinchbeck on 7 July 1663. Nathan PEGG and Mary EDGOOSE were married at Pinchbeck on 6 May 1686. Nathan, son of Nathan and Mary PEGG, was baptised at Pinchbeck on 20 February 1686/87 and was buried there in 1711. Eliza, daughter of Nathan and Mary PEGG, was baptised at Pinchbeck on 20 August 1688. She was mentioned in her father's will in 1721. In his will made on 3 March 1694 Richard EDGOOSE of Whitechapel, Middlesex, refers to the daughter of Anthony EDGOOSE: "Item I give to my Brother Anthony EDGOOSE Daughter And the children of John HAMMORTON (the number not being Knowne) the sum of twenty five pounds to be Equally devided a mongst them according to the discression of my Excecuttors And not otherwise". (LMA MS9172/93 Will No. 70) The implication is that only one of Anthony's daughters was still living: Mary (1664-1716), the wife of Nathan PEGG, or Elizabeth (1667-1706). Margaret, daughter of Nathan and Mary PEGG, was baptised at Pinchbeck on 12 January 1696/97. She was mentioned in her father's will in 1721. Febee, daughter of Nathan and Mary PEGG, was baptised at Pinchbeck on 17 March 1699/1700. She was mentioned in her father's will in 1721. She married Thomas SUMMERS at Pinchbeck on 5 June 1721. Rachall, daughter of Nathan and Mary PEGG, was baptised at Pinchbeck on 7 July 1702 and buried there the same year. Susanna PEGG, daughter of Nathan and Mary PEGG, was baptised at Pinchbeck on 30 January 1703/04. She was mentioned in her father's will in 1721. She was buried at Pinchbeck on 16 August 1747. Mary, daughter of Nathan PEGG, was mentioned in her father's will in 1721. The will of Ishmael GRAY of Pinchbeck, husbandman, contains a reference to a house and ground in which Nathan PEGG lived. (LCC Wills 1706/66) Mary, wife of Nathan PEGG, was buried at Pinchbeck on 14 February 1715/16.
