  Rachel, daughter of Joseph and Ann EDGOOSE, was baptised at Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire, on 18 May 1690. Joseph EDGOOSE had married Ann RICHARDSON at Pinchbeck on 4 August 1687.
  She was a beneficiary in her father's will made on 19 May 1690. Her sister Elizabeth, who is mentioned earlier in the will, was baptised at Pinchbeck on 20 May 1688. (LCC Wills 1690/176)
  An Index of the Will of Joseph EDGOOSE (1646-1690), yeoman of Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire. The Will was made on 19 May 1690. Probate was granted the same year. 01*Joseph EDGOOSE, the Testator. 02 Ann [EDGOOSE], wife of the Testator. 03 Sir Thomas OGLE, neighbouring landowner. 04 Leonard BROWNE Esq., neighbouring landowner. 05 John DALE, neighbouring landowner. 06 Elizabeth EDGOOSE, daughter of the Testator. 07*Rachel EDGOOSE, daughter of the Testator. 08 Rich(ar)d GILL, witness. 09 Rob(er)t ROBINSON, witness. 10 Willi(a)m RICHARDSON, witness. 11 Robert BROWNE, witness.   In his will dated 17 March 1714 Robert BROWN of Pinchbeck, yeoman, bequeaths "Unto my maid Servant Rachael EDGOOSE One Guinea (if she happens to live with me at the time of my desease) to be paid her wthin one month next after my desease". (LCC Wills 1717/ii/12)
  A Robert BROWN married Margaret EDGOOSE at Pinchbeck on 11 November 1680. In 1690 a Robert BROWNE signed as a witness to the will of Joseph EDGOOSE. A Robert BROWNE also helped to make an inventory of the goods of Adler EDGOOSE of Pinchbeck on 8 June 1692. (LCC Admons. 1692 42) In 1672 an ADLER EDGOOSE had had a daughter RACHEL.
  A Rachel EDGOOSE married Thomas FREAR of Bourne, Lincolnshire, at Pinchbeck on 26 December 1720.
  Richard s. of Thomas FREAR was buried at Bourne on 3 May 1727.
  Thomas s. of Thomas FREAR was baptised at Bourne on 9 June 1728. (IGI)
  An infant of Thomas FREAR was buried at Bourne on 30 January 1728/29.
  Thomas FREAR was buried at Bourne on 2 April 1734.
  Goody FREAR widow was buried at Bourne on 26 April 1740. George Holdsworth wrote in February 2002 that the clerk was one of those who could not be bothered with wives' or widows' first names and noted them all as 'Goody'.
