COMMENT: Sarah Alexander's father was a major landowner in the Chickamauga area, and he disliked John B for not volunteering during the Battle of Chickamauga. Supposedly John B hid in the woods during the battle, and his deceased first wife's father actively persecuted him, but this is a famly story.
