OBITUARY: undated, unmarked; corrected for clarity; SLAYTON-EDMOND BAILEY, 59, died Saturday morning at the residence, 823 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville Ga. He is survived by his wife, Mrs E B Slayton; one daughter Mrs E H [ TUCKER], [Morristown] Tenn; two sons Marion C and Joseph Eugene Slayton, Chattanooga; grandchildren Sandra [Tucker], Nancy and Sylvia Slayton; one brother, C H Slayton, Chattanooga; one sister Mrs Mary Corfitzson, Chattanooga. Mr Slayton was a deacon of the First Baptist Church, Lakeview, Ga., and a member of the Rossville Lodge 397, F & AM. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 Sunday afternoon from the chapel of the National Funeral Home with the Rev J N Bull officiating. Interment will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Rossville Lodge 397, F & AM in charge of service. Pallbearers will be Raymond Corfitzson, Charles Corfitzson, Robert Corfitzson, Francis Corfitzson, Edmond BRODY], Howard [LINVILLE]. The body will remain at the funeral home.
