a. Note:   Obituary: EDWARD E. HOLLAND VAINLY SOUGHT HEALTH - DIED OF LUNG CANCES - DEATH AFTER LONG ILLNESS Special to the Tribune: Girard, Feb 6 - Edward E. Holland, aged 45 years, a well known resident, after a long illness from lung trouble, died Saturday at his home on Second Street. Mr. Holland's health had been bad for several years, and the greater part of the past year he had spend at Phoenix, Ariz., with the hope that the climate would be a benefit in him. He was beyond any earthly aid and he gradually became worse. He was brought home a couple of weeks ago, and his death had been almost momentarily expected ever since. Mr. Holland came to Girard from Baltimore about 15 years ago, and until his health caused him to give up, he worked as a carpenter and contractor. He is survived by a wife and four small children who have the sincere sympathy of the entire community. His father, who resides in Baltimore, has been notified and the funeral arragements will not be made until he is heard from.
