Anne Almond November 1, 1923 - October 5, 2015 'Daughter of Pioneers'
Anne was raised on a small farm in Alberta. She grew up during the depression and came to adulthood during World War II. Despite experiencing much loss and adversity in her childhood, she lived her life with courage, optimism, compassion, wisdom, dignity and joy. Anne loved life. Anne is reunited with her beloved mother, her father, her stepmother, her six sisters and brothers, and her husband Stan. Loving her and missing her are the Stein and Terrett families, as well as her dear friends Maureen and Toby. Gentle Annie, you have touched our hearts. "Nostrovia." Till we meet again. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Anne's life at Boal Chapel Memorial Gardens (1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver, BC) on Tuesday, October 20 at 2:00 pm.
