Note: Sophie Godziuk GODZIUK, Sophie On June 12, 2008 Sophie Godzuik of Edmonton passed away at the age of 94 years. She is survived by her daughter Shirley (Norm) Diemert; granddaughter Jane (Scott) Rogers and their children Lauren and Evan; one grandson Bradly (Heather) Diemert; her sister Frances Chimera, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband and best friend John in 1988. A special thank you to all the staff at St. Michael's for the love and care for Sophie and her family. Divine Liturgy will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 10:00 am at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 10825 - 97 Street, Edmonton with Reverend Theo Machinski officiating. Interment to follow at Beechmount Cemetery. Those who wish, may make donations in Sophie's memory to St. Michael's Extended Care Centre.
