Note: BORYS, Peter William With sadness we announce the passing of Peter William Borys of Leduc on January 13, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Peter is survived by his loving family, his wife of 55 years, Lavia; daughter, Sonja (Murray) Spence of Athabasca; sons, Allen (Carol) Borys of Sherwood Park and Eugene (Rhonda) Borys of Leduc; grandchildren, Roxanne (Dean) Persson, Wade (Dawn) Juknies, Melissa Borys (Darren Myrhaugen), Lisa (Brent) Kelly, Leah Colborne, Lindsay and Lauren Borys; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by a son-in-law, Herbert Juknies; parents, Wasyl and Kathrine Borys; his brothers and sisters, Harry, Annie, Pearl, Eva, Mary, Nettie, Alex, Theodere, Metro, Andrew and Peter. will be on Monday, January 17, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, Nisku (3 miles West of Highway 2 on Highway 19). Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church with Reverend Igor Kisil, Celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Donations in memory of Peter may be directed to S.T.A.R.S Air Rescue, Edmonton or to your favorite charity. Hainstock & Son Funeral Chapel, Leduc in care of all arrangements. 4802 - 47 Avenue.
