His brother LEWIS SHRIVER (married Mary Sheets) also lived in York Co PA, which became Adams Co PA in 1800. \par --1788 April 10, Frederick Co MD land deeds: Elizabeth BEALL deceased , William Murdock BEALL & Elisha BEALL executors. Sold 90 acres land to FREDERICK WILLIAM SHRIVER. Attached copy of Mordecae BEALL." \par --1790 Frederick Co MD census, shows couple, three sons and one slave \par --1794 July; Marriage record to Elizabeth Seesman, Frederick Co MD \par --1800 Emmitsburg, Frederick Co MD census Frederick W Shriver; older couple 45+; 2 men 16-25; one boy 10-15 and one slave. \par --1803 plantations called Woods Design and Den of Wolves, 89+ acres from FREDERICK WILLIAM SHRIVER (wife ELIZABETH) in 1803 (previously to SHRIVER from William Murdoch BEALL and Elisha BEALL in 1790) sold to ??; one acre on south side of Hunting Creek w a s reserved for Shriver's mill dam; and also Resurvey on Den of Wolves, 11 acres. \par --1806 July 22 Frederick Co MD; Frederickstown Bartger's Republican Gazette Newspaper: FREDERICK W SHRIVER forwarns persons from trusting his wife ELIZABETH as he will pay none of her contracts (NOTE: several other husbands took out similar ads in the new spaper, so they must have deemed this a good way to curb a wife's spending!) \par --Seems likely that FREDERICK WILLIAM SHRIVER was married previously to Elizabeth Seesman (one source indicates her name was Maria Elizabeth Beierle/Byerly) and had three sons as per 1800 census. They would have been born before his marriage to Elizabet h Seesman. \par -- FREDERICK WILLIAM SHRIVER died Feb 27, 1820 and was buried St John's Reformed Church Cemetary in Creagerstown, Frederick Co MD.}
