Note:   --Buried in Bangor, Iowa Friend's church cemetery (Marshall Co) --Records show her name as Minta Mae or Minttie Mae; family spelled it Minttie May. --1880 Christian Co MO census, Linden twp, with parents & siblings --1900 Christian Co MO census, Sparta twp with parents & siblings --1901 married Alonzo Cox Huber in Christian Co MO --1906 Sparta, Christian Co Missouri; Application to Eastern Cherokee Tribe; MINTTIE MAY, her mother SILOAMA WHITECOTTON BRUTON and brother JAMES J BRUTON applied for tribal membership & monetary benefits as part of the Eastern Cherokee Nation. --1908 Sparta, Christian Co Missouri; Rejection by Cherokee Tribe; SILOAMA WHITECOTTON BRUTON's application was rejected. She stated that her grandfather (ie MOSES WHITECOTTON) was full-blood Cherokee, and that his mother "STUMP" was also full blood Cherokee. This was not true and thus tribal membership was denied to SILOAMA & her children. --1909 Albion, Marshall Co Iowa; Correspondence from the Eastern Cherokee Tribal Application indicate that MINTTIE MAY & her husband ALONZO COX HUBER were living in Albion at the time the application was rejected. --1910 Hardin Co Iowa, Union twp with husband & children --1920 Hardin Co Iowa, Union twp with husband , children & mother-in law Cramelia Frazier Clowe --1930 Marshall Co Iowa,Marshalltown, with husband & children
