I have been able to verify just about every piece of Information in the letter in census & other records. \par --Also, mentioned in book, "Rawdon & Douglas: Two Loyalist Townships in Nova Scotia" by John V. Duncanson, p 520: \par Betsy married John Kennedy, a native of Ireland who migrated to Nova Scotia. They were married and settled in Winsor NS, and removed to Lubec Maine and there he died. \par --List of children from the 1887 letter includes my gg grandparents THOMAS KENNEDY and wife SARAH J BOLTON. \par --1850 Portland, Ward 1 Cumberland Co ME census, widow Age 50 with two sons Thomas age 21, David age 13 \par --1860 Portland, Ward 1 Cumberland Co ME census, in household ofher son Thomas, with son David age 21, three grandaughters and one Grandson Jotham J.
