I have not been able to verify it myself. 1850 Portland Cumberland Co ME Ward 7 with mother Elizabeth C (Rines) Kennedy and younger brother David 1860 Portland Cumberland Co ME, widower with three daughters, mother Elizabeth, brother David and nephew Jotham 1861 Marriage record to "Ann Corbett" Elizabeth Ann "Lizzie" Corbett. Lizzie "Corbit" is listed in 1860 Portland Cumberland Co ME census with her elderly father, William. 1870 Cumberland Co ME census, city of Portland ward 1 with 2nd wife Elizabeth & daughters 1880 Mono Co CA census, town of Bodie with 2nd wife Elizabeth. Two Daughters & spouses lived nearby. Thomas is present in Bodie, Mono Co CA tax records from 1878 until 1884. He owned twenty acres on the grassy flats south of the town, and by 1880 was engaged in raising cattle. Earlier tax records indicate he was a merchant and was taxed on merchandise, but not land. Thomas Kennedy is listed 1886 in San Francisco CA voter's registration list, born Nova Scotia, naturalization date matches Cumberland Co ME records, his occupation listed as miller. His 2nd wife Elizabeth not listed, so she likely died before 1884, probably in Bodie.
