Wounded & discharged 1862. Moved to MN shortly after discharge with his brother John F. Martine (my gg grandfather). Isaac settled near the town of Sleepy Eye and became a dairy farmer. He lived in Sleepy Eye from about 1862 until his death in 1897. \par --"Isaac MartineSr went to Wisconsin when a young man and left his farm in that state to enlistin Company F of the Second Wisconsin Infantry at the breaking out of the CivilWar. He was wounded in the first battle of Bull Run and was so severely injured tht he was incapacitated for further duty as a soldier and the rest of his life suffered a handicap upon his nomral strength and functions. From Wisocnsin he moved to Minnesota and was a pioneer in Brown County.
