Notes
a. Note:   600\tx6160\tx6720\pardirnatural \f0\fs26 \cf0 \par \pard\pardeftab720\cf0 --As per the Civil War Pension record of son, Isaac Martine of Brown Co MN; marriage & death affidavit shows his parents as "Albert & Mary Martine". \par --Maiden name unverified, but seems highly likely that the mother of my gg grandfather, John F Martine b 1821 Spencerport, Monroe Co NY, was an Edson. John F Martine named his youngest son John Edson Martine. \par --1840 Spencerport, Ogden twp, Monroe Co NY census shows household of Charity Martine elderly, with one middle aged woman age 40-50 (prob Mary ), one daughter 10-15 (prob Maria B) and one son 10-15 (prob John F). Two other older children probably bound ou t or working in other households. \par --1850 Spencerport Ogden twp, Monroe Co NY census shows Rachel Martine age 34, eldest daughter of Albert Martine, and John F Martine age 19. In 1850 daughter Maria B Martine was living in household of William & Clarissa Brown of Spencerport, possibly wor king as a servant. \par ----youngest daughter MARIA B MARTINE was likely named for Maria (Brown) Brooks, wife of Presbyterian minister Rev Lemuel Brooks. I am not sure why, or if there was some kind of connection on MARY's side with the Brown, Willey or Brooks families. MARIA wa s living in household of William & Clarissa Brown by 1850 census, and married George Tarbox whose mother was Clarissa Willey, and also related to the Brown family of Monroe Co NY. More research to come.}
