(No other passengers on this page of the manifest seem connected to Agnes.)
  At least one tree gives father as Frank and mother as Matyo. But Frank Macek is her uncle's name. A Matyo Macek signed husband Frank Nagode's naturalization petition.
  The 1920 census says a Frank Macek (b. 1866 or 1864) living in Bessemer PA arrived in 1900 and was joined by his wife and two oldest sons in 1913. I presume he is Agnes' uncle because they are both from the Corniola region of Slovenia. His Dec 1946 death certificate names his parents as Jacob and Mary, wife Gertrude Virant Macek. Frank Macek Head Male 54 Carniola Yera Macek Wife Female 44 Carniola John Macek Son Male 22 Carniola Frank Macek Son Male 13 Carniola Mary Macek Daughter Female 3 Pennsylvania 1940: Mary is now 13, wife Gertrude is 54. Frank’s arrival is 1897, Gertrude’s is 1912.
