Note: Jack attended Edgewood High School and served in the Army Air Corps in India during WW II. He returned to Dubuque to finish his degree in 1948 at Loras College. Jack was a trained musician and played saxophone as a teenager in an Edgewood band with his father. He also played in the Loras College Swing Band and in an Army military band.
He was a credit union executive and manager in Dubuque, Davenport, and Cedar Rapids. He returned to Dubuque in 1983. He died in 1999 while visiting his daughter Beth in St. Louis.
