She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joseph Donald Rivi; 4 sons, Joseph David Rivi of Lakewood OH, Ronald L. Rivi of Greensburg PA, Randy J. Rivi of Leechburg, and Jeffrey A. Rivi of Fairfax VA; 3 daughters, Mrs. Louis (Lori J.) Paul of Springfield VA, Mrs. Lloyd (Paulette) Sober of Topeka Kansas, and Mrs. Samuel (Sandra) Kridler of Gilpin Township; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Julia Akos of Georgetown, Gilpin Township, and Mrs. Cifford (Louise) Bennett of Hyde Park PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Pauline (Liposki) Akos; a sister, Betty Fantino; and a grandson, Brian Joseph Sober.
Note: When Dorothy Elizabeth Akos was born on May 20, 1920, in Hastings, Pennsylvania, her father, Louis, was 32, and her mother, Pauline, was 19. She had four sons and three daughters with Joseph Donald "Pep" Rivi. She died on September 18, 2001, in Le
