Note: I am so excited! My father's great grandfather is jacob Stone (they used the name Stein in 1870-1880)
Stein means Stone (it's a german thing)
My Dad is John Francis Stein born December 19, 1917 and is still alive & kicking ( he had a brother & sister)
His dad is John Benjamin Stein born Oct 3, 1888 and died of Cirrosis of the liver & heart probs in 1956 (he had 3 brothers)
His grandpa is Frank Stein (aka Stone) born 1862, (he had 4 sons) he died January 14, 1890. He died of Rheumatism (this is pain..from what? ) and he is buried in St John's Cemetary too and had his burial from there.
I have his wife's name (she was born in Boston, NY) and more info, as Frank is my fathers grandpa.
His great grandpa is Jacob Stein born in 1818 and died Sept 23, 1888 at age 70. He had paralysis (probably a stroke) and had burial from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 6895 Boston Cross Road, Boston, NY 14025 and he is buried in St. John's Cemetary, Boston, NY. Jacob of course is married to Susan Lauer. They had 13 kids and I have their names and birthdates. One son Andrew was a VIP in the Town of Hamburg. I have a good story about him, that will do you proud!
