 In Orphans Court, Oct. 1836, "Jetson Green appointed guardian of Piety, Sarah, Kiziah and Jurisa Bass, minor heirs of Andrew Bass." But on Orphan Court Jan. 1840, it was ordered that Joseph Vanderslice, Guardian of Kiziah and Guresia Bass be charged with the sum of three hundred and ninety four & 19/100 dollars" However, on p. 94 OC, Elias George applied for guardianship of heirs of Andrew Bass.

 March 14, 1895Mrs. R. Farrar, about 68, mother of A.B. Farrar, died Saturday morning. R must have been the result of the reporter hearing that Mrs Rusha Farrar, Rusha being the name that her family and friends called her.
 The State of AlabamaPerry County } Know all men by these presents that we Elias George, Joseph Vanderslice, and Wiley Howell, are held and firmly bound unto Ovid C Eiland, Judgeof the County Court of the County aforesaid in the sum of twenty four hundred dollars to be paid to the said Ovid C. Eiland or to his successor in office to which payment will and truly to be made webind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly, severally, and firmly by there (sic) presents sealed with our seals and dated this 1st day of May 1840. The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bound Elias George has been duly appointed guardian of all and singular the goods and chattels rights and credits of Sarah, Keziah, Jurusia Bass minor heirs ofA. (Andrew)Bass deceased. Now if the said Elias George shall well and truly perform all the duties which are or maybe by law required of him as such guardian then the above obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force day and date above written.
