Note: ar 1879 he was the collector of taxes for South Easthope Township, a fairly responsible position. There is no indication as to what caused his demise in 1884. however it does show on the Family Tombstone that he died aged 50 years - 2 months - and 15 days which must mean that he was born about October 16th 1833, a minor point probably but it does show that all dates I have used pertaining to the childrens age go by their 1st birthday. However the bible must contain the actual date - Day - Month - Year of each and every birth.
