Note:   Alma FRASER FRASER, ALMA -Passed away peacefully at Park Lane Terrace, Paris on Saturday, September 25, 2010; Alma (nee Studiman) in her 100th year; predeceased by her husband Donald Fraser in 2006; loving mother to Kenneth (Jean) of Ayr; mother-in-law to Donald Myers (Cindy) of New Hamburg; cherished grandmother to Leanne McComb (Kevin), Julie Firminger (Duane), Lisa Fitzgerald (Shawn), Brett Myers (Debbie), Jocelyn Myers and Angela Myers; great grandmother to Megan and Logan McComb, Takoma and Trey Firminger, Sarah and Mathew Fitzgerald and Gryphon and Corson Myers; special mother to Velma Albright (Bert); special Nana to Kim Albright and her children Elizabeth, Hailey and Alison, and Linda Thiel (Marc) and their children Jordan and Braedon. dear sister to Kathleen Foreman; also predeceased by daughters Margaret Myers (1995) and Carolyn in infancy, sister Iva Whaling, brothers Leslie and Gordon Studiman. Alma lived a busy life farming with her husband Don until their retirement in 1967. She was a life member of Little's Corner Womans Institute and the UCW. Alma attended Sheffield United Church where she was treasurer for many years. Later, she attended Knox United in Ayr. She was a devote euchre player and loved to quilt, knit and was passionate about her oil painting. Until recent years, Alma was very social visiting friends and family and enjoying every minute. Cremation. A memorial service will be held at Park Lane Terrace, 295 Grand River Street North, Paris on Sunday, October 3 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in Alma's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
