a. Note:   Graham Wallace Blomquist was the younger of the 2 children of John Blomquist and Maud Ordway. He grew up in Carrabelle FL. During the Depression, he worked in a Conservation Corps camp and then on dredge boats.
  In 1939 at age 27, he married Thelma Florine Bradford, a daughter of Reuben Pierre Bradford and Hannah Watkins. During their early married life, they lived in Freeport FL, Louisiana, and Key West FL where Graham worked on dredge boats. In 1945 before World War II ended, he served several years in the US Army in the occupation forces in the Philippines.
  When he returned in 1947, the family moved to Jacksonville Beach for a year, but then returned to Carrabelle where they lived with Thelma's widowed mother, Hannah Bradford. Graham worked for the city (1953-1969), mostly in the water department. Graham and Thelma were active Methodists.
  In 1969 at age 57, Graham died in Shands Hospital in Gainesville and was buried in Carrabelle. After Graham's death, Thelma worked in the Carrabelle Hospital for several years. In 1971, she began working as an elementary school aide in the Carrabelle School.
