Notes
a. Note:   Uncle Doc and Aunt Ida never had children FindAGrave:
Ida Tunnell was a dress and hat maker in Reger, Missouri. Customers could bring a picture of a dress, perhaps from the Sears catalog, and she would make the dress without need for a pattern. She would take the customer's measurements and never write them down as she could remember them.
Just before she was married, she slipped on ice and severely injured her back. Most of her life she could not walk. It was in later years that surgery techniques had improved to the point that an operation restored some mobility. She spent the rest of her life walking with use of crutches. [Story told by her niece Edith Smith Collins who lived with her for several years]
