Notes

Note: , told me that when Andrew was a young man that people just "liked him because he was such a nice person." This followed throughout his life. Not a bad thing could ever be said about him nor a fault in his character. His wife, Mary Cantrell Ainslie, said recently that in 60+ years of marriage she never heard him curse. None ever saw him take a drink of anything stronger than a Coca-Cola which he 'drank regularly..' even hiding a few where the Grand kids could not find them! He is and was a model of what a good father should be. Accepting, loving, and always asked about how you were doing. He was more interested in 'you' than telling you about 'him.' What a difference as compared to most people who are 'self' oriented! He took care of his wife, and he was a gentleman. My seven year old Peter told me the other day that the thing he missed about his Papa most was that 'he gave good hugs...' Andrew Alexander Ainslie, I leave this as a testament to your life. You are missed in this world. It is not as good a place without you! You are our father, and we hope to model the testimony of your life to be a better father myself, husband, and friend. Love you Papa!

Note: My Papa: It has been almost a year since my "Papa" passed from this life. On his deathbed he was jovial, he knew the end of this life had come, and he welcomed it. His cousin, Alice Oldham Harris
