Notes

Note: The transcript of the monumental inscription for Jonas states that he was 80 years old when he died. This conflicts with the census returns for 1841, 1851 and 1861 and also with his entry for birth in the parish register. Either the inscription was difficult to read, or his age was stated incorrectly for the inscription. Alternatively, the date of death may have been transcribed incorrectly.
