 At the 1851 census, Ann was living at Chapel House, Marsden, Lancashire with her husband, 9 children (Parker - 23, Benjamin - 21, Nancy - 19, Mary - 17, James - 12, John - 9, Sarah Ann - 8, Elizabeth - 3 and Eli - 21 whose wife Rebecca was also living there), along with a lodger Nancy Parker aged 43 from Gisburn.
