a. Note:   n he was six years old. They were shown there in the 1920 Census. He was county 660-yard dash and broad jump champion in high school and managed field operations at parent's ranch as an adult. The ranch was sold after his father died and he moved his family to San Clemente in the summer of 1954, then to Vista in the fall, returning to San Clemente a year later. There, he established a home at 226 De La Rosa and worked as a cement truck operator. In the early 1960s, he moved to 1703 South Ola Vista, San Clemente where he lived until ijs death. He and his wife, Willie Rae, were proprietors of Mary Jane's Fabrics on Del Mar Avenue in San Clemente until they retired. One of their most favorite activities was square dancing for which they helped start clubs in both Hemet and San Clemente,
