Note: Buried at Mann-Burleson Cemetery - Albemarle, NC Johnathan was the fifth sheriff of Stanly County. He took the oath of office November 15, 1865. He was 43 years old when elected to office. He enlisted in the Confederate Army - May 25, 1862. Later on he was a Lt. in the Confederate Army.
