<p style="text-align: left;" dir="ltr">Mike spent the summer of 1963 at the Infantry Training center in Fort Polk, LA for the US. Army
<p style="text-align: left;" dir="ltr">Mike graduated with a 1977 degreee in Associate of Arts from the Los Angles Tread-Technical college.<br />Mike went to work for ATT in 1978 as an international long distance operator.<br />Mike had stays in Houston, Beaumont area, and Indiana with AT&T retireing to Star City, WV in 1998.Retired after 20 service.<br />.Mike was an avid genealogist and woked with Karen Kindler Kotlasrchik author of "The Holme Family from Philadelphia to California". <a href="http://holmefamily.blogspot.com/">http://holmefamily.blogspot.com/</a> Mike is the only Holmes mentioned in her book for his help. It is through his hard work that we have a record of our family tree. Attached is a document with some of their correspondence.
<p style="text-align: left;" dir="ltr">He and his dog Blackie retired to Star City. WV in 1998. He bourht a small home and had many confortable years there.
