Note: OBITUARY
MRS. FANNIE STRONG, 91, of South Point, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 15, 1983, in St. Mary's Hospital, Huntington, W. Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Schneider Funeral Home, Chesapeake, Ohio. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. She was born June 27, 1891, in Hamlin, W. Va., a daughter of the late William Allen and Pheoba Jane Sowards Smith. She was a member of the Burlington United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Burlington Welfare Club and a member of the W.S.C.S. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Strong. Survivors include one son, Richard Strong of South Point; two brothers, Bernie Smith of Huntington and Leslie Smith of Middletown, Ohio; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Schneider Funeral Home.
