Notes
a. Note:   Susan Laubenheimer and John von Haden reviewed the Weinolsheim, Germany parish records microfilms (e-mail from John von Haden to Douglas Detling April 27, 2000), permitting a description of the Laubenheimer family. Records for the parish from 1825 to 1833 are missing.
Birth date for Philipina Laubenheimer appears in the publication Memoirs of Milwaukee Co.. If this date is correct, she would have been 21 in 1850 when her parents arrived in New York, and is not consistent with the estimate shown in Ira A. Glazier and P. William Filby, eds., Germans to America, p. 294, which lists immigrants to New York from Havre, Germany, arriving on the Georgia on October 2, 1850: Sebastian and Elisabeth Laubenheimer, both age 60, Johann, 17, and Philippine, 19. On the other hand, brother Philip would have been 25 (the same age as shown for his twin sister Catherine).
