Note: The Rev. G. T. Ridlon's Soule genealogy, p. 745-750, provides a history of the Soule family. The 1926 publication at page 750 states "Harriet" Adelia Soule was a twin daughter, but identifies no other child. Her date of birth is given as July 4, 1816 and birthplace as Freehold, Greene Co., New York. Francelia Louise Roblee's obituary states Francelia's mother's name as Henrietta. Ridlon, while not naming the twin daughter's name, may have not been informed that the two both had a middle name of Adelia. It is possible that Henrietta was called Adeline at one point since the 1850 Census (see below) refers to her as Adeline but later Adelia. Her sister Harriet died at age 35 in December 1851, well before Ridlon's book was published. Henrietta lived with her husband Norman Roblee until about 1848 in Kendall, Oreleans Co., New York, Harriet, who married James Bullock, and son Royal, are both buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Kendall. Data on family structure listed in Ridlon, Soules of Chenango Co., New York, p. 750. H. and Theodore Roblee of this place, was 87 years old Sunday, Feb. 21, and the occasion was pleasantly celebrated by a family reunion. Mrs. Roblee is now in her 87th year and it was, therefore, a rare privilege for one of her age, to be able to greet all of her own children under her roof at one and the same time. Those present were her daughters, Mrs. Amelia Carr of Saratoga N. Y.; Mrs Francelia Brott of Groton, South Dakota, and her three sons, James, E. H. and T. S. Toblee [Roblee] all of this village." (The [Canisteo] Times-Republican, 2 Mar 1904) "Mrs. Norman Roblee, of Canisteo, died December 9, aged 92 years. She was admired and respected by all who knew her. She is survived by five children, Mrs. Amelia Carr, of Saratoga Springs, Mrs. S. F. Blott (sic) of South Dakota, and James, Edgar and Theodore Roblee, of Canisteo." (The Steuben Courier, 18 Dec 1908) “Mrs. Adelia Roblee, the widow of Norman Roblee, died at her home in this place Wednesday afternoon in her 93rd year. She had been a resident of this place for many years and commanded the love and esteem of all. She was a woman of more than ordinary mental ability and strength of character. Five children are left: E. H. Roblee, James Roblee and Theodore S. Roblee of this place, Mrs. Carr of Saratoga and Mrs. Blott (sic) of South Dakota. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon and was largely attended.” (Canisteo Times, 16 Dec 1908) Buried in Hillside Cemetery, Steuben Co., New York as Henrietta A. Roblee, b. 1816 d. 1908.
