Note: The following Funeral Notice was in the Salem Evening News on Friday June 2, 1978:
"BEVERLY -- Lucien E. LeBel, 69, of 12 Moulton Ct., died Thursday morning in Beverly Hospital following a long illness.
Born and educated in Salem, he was the son of the late Joseph and Corinne (Thibeault) LeBel, and formerly made his home in Danvers and Salem.
Previous to his retirement in 1964 because of ill health, he was employed by the Stewart Last Co., of North Andover, where he worked for 13 years. He was previously employed at the former B. B. Chemical Co. in Middleton and the Craig Machine Co. in Lawrence.
Mr. LeBel was a communicant of St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church for more than 20 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Arlene M. Conley; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia A. Chalmers of Beverly, two sons, William J. Bona of Lynn and Lawrence J. Bona of Montgomery, Ala.; three sisters, Mrs. Helen E. Beaulieu of Beverly, Mrs. Annette Sigman of New Port Richey, Fla., and Mrs. Corinne Boucher of West Newbury; three bothers, Ernest of Hiliday, Florida, Gerard LeBel of Weham and Arthur LeBel of Merrimack; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Saturday morning from Bick and Curry Funeral Home, Beverly, with a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church at 11."
