a. Note:   The following Funeral Notice was in the Salem Evening News dated Saturday May 25, 1996:
  "WENHAM--Gerard R. LeBel, husband of the late Muriel C. (Garry) LeBel, died Wednesday in the Beverly Hospital at the age of 79.
 Mr. LeBel was born in Peabody, son of the late Joseph L. and Corinne (Thibeault) LeBel. For many years, he owned and operated the former LeBel's Jewelry Store in Beverly with his brother and also worked for 10 years at the former Daniel Low's jewelry store in Salem.
 He was a member of the American Gem Society and was a registered jeweler and certifier. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Navy.
 Mr. LeBel is survived by a brother, Ernest V. LeBel of New Port Richey, Fla.; three sisters, Helene M. Beaulieu of Beverly. Annette Sigman of Danvers, and Pat Boucher of Vero Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
 A memorial funeral Mass will be offered at St. Alphonsus Chuch, Elliot Street, Danvers, at a later date. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem. Arrangements are by the Lee, Moody & Russell Funeral Home, 9 Dane St., Beverly."

  At the time of their marriage Gerard was a 39 year old jeweler living at 18 Bartlett St., Beverly, MA. Muriel was a 38 year old clerk living at 4 Eddel Ave., Wenham, MA. This was the first marriage for Gerard and the second one for Muriel, who was widowed. Rev. John E. Jusseaume was the presiding clergy.
