The following Death announcement was in the Salem Evening News on Wednesday, December 1, 1965:
"BELANGER -- Died in Beverly, November 30, Leon Joseph Belanger, son of Clara M. (LeBel) Belanger and late Edmond J. Belanger; late residence, 7 Judson street. Friends will be received at the Bick and Curry funeral home, 43 Bow street, Beverly, from 7 until 9 o'clock this evening and from 2 until 4 and from 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Friday morning at 9 o'clock from the funeral home. A requiem high mass will be sung at St. Mary's Star of the Sea church, Beverly, at 9 o'clock to which friends are kindly invited. Interment in Central cemetery, Beverly, under the direction of Funeral Directors Raymond P. Bick and John T. Curry."
