Note: [phyllis.FTW]19 years old, Raymond was left in NS. He had to refister in Yarmouth, NS, Canada before he could board the boat. He spelled his last name Semon and in 1940 he had to have his birth certificated for Civil Service. There were no records of his birth and there was a descrepency in the family name. Through the family bible, sworn affidavits et.al. he was issued a certificate from Halifax, NS, Canada under the name Semon. His children are all recorded as Seamon
