AVERY, 50, died Saturday in Wallingford, Conn., where he had been residing more than a year. Born July 15, 1903, he was the son of Joseph and Margaret PERRAULT AVERY. He had lived in Oxford 20 years. Surviving are his widow, the former Josephine STROTHER, East Oxford; three daughter [sic], Mrs. Margaret Violette, Lewiston; Misses Janice and Mary, East Oxford; two sons, Walter, Meriden, Conn., and Thomas, Millvale, Conn.; a brother, Joseph, Stamford, Conn.; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret SMITH, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Mrs. Hattie SMITH, Belmont, Mass. a grandchildren [sic] and several nieces and nephews.
