Note: linois, passed away on Friday January 6, 2006 athis home. He was a Naval Officer, retired from Ford Aerospace and was aMeteorologist with the US Civil Service at the Fourth Weather Wing atENT. Joe Sam Restivo was born on March 11, 1926 in Herrin to Sam andJohanna (Guarnair) Restivo. He was a 1943 graduate of Herrin High Schooland received both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from M.I.T. Hemarried Dolores A. Chandler on June 4, 1949 in Herrin. Dolores survivesand lives in Coloado Springs. He is also survived by son: Dave Restivoand two daughters Debi (husband Bill) Becker and Cindy Ashton, all ofColorado Springs. He also has two sisters: Annie Riggio of Du Quoin,Illinois and Marie Fister of St. Louis, Missouri and a grandson JasonBecker. Private family services will be held on Wednesday, January11,2006. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery. Shrine ofRemembrance, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80910.
