Lewis Richard EDWARDS, 79, of Sesser died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004, atSeverin Intermediate Care in Benton. A funeral service is scheduled for 1p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser,officiated by Brother Greg SHELTON. Burial will be at the County LineCemetery in Thompsonville. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesdayuntil the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be madeto the family at the funeral home. Mr. EDWARDS was born April 6, 1924, inThompsonville, the son of Leroy Ray EDWARDS and Isabell ISAACS. He wasmarried to Lou Anna MOORE EDWARDS on Nov. 6, 1968, in Pekin, and shesurvives. Also surviving are children, Jay COREY, Alan Ray FISHER, RoyDean FISHER and Lana LeKay FISHER; three grandchildren; and siblings,Martha Lucille JACKSON, George Ray EDWARDS, Clyde EDWARDS and MarieKISELEWSKI. His parents and one daughter, Levita Bell EDWARDS, precededhim in death.
