Note: ORIETTA BAINE Orietta BAINE, daughter of Daniel and Eliza J. BAINE, was born at Webb's Prairie, October 13th, 1869. She was one of a family of fourteenchildren, eight of whom have preceeded her to a better world. On April 7th, 1889 she wasunited in marriage to John Q. ROBINSON, who survives her. To this union wereborn seven children: Stella JUDD of E. St. Louis; Nancy HOOD, of Carbondale; EvaELLIS, of East St. Louis; Ruth PRICE of East ST. Louis; Alma SIMMONS of East St.Louis, and Della, now deceased.* Aunt Etta, as she was familiarly known to all who knew and loved her, wasa woman among women. She was a kind and loving wife and a fond andaffectionate mother, and to all of her acquaintances a kind friend. Aunt Etta departedthis life in East St. Louis, Illinois, on January 4th, 1924 at the age of 54years, 2 months and 22 days, leaving behind her, her grief stricken husband, Uncle Johnnie ROBINSON, and, the six children above named. In addition theresurvive her six brothers and sister: Mrs. H. G. DAVIS of Benton; Mrs. Ida WEBB ofEwing; Edgar BAINE of Benton; Sarah WEBB of Cullison, Kansas; Mildred BAINE ofTerre Haute, Ind., and Mrs. Maggie WARREN of Benton. A loving friend from us has gone, A voice we loved is stilled, A place is vacant in our home, which never can be filled. *One son, S. M. (Monroe) BAIN was left out of his mother's obituary.
