WEST FRANKFORT
Mona GARNER, 73, died at 6:05 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, in St.
Johns Hospital, Springfield.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. in the First Apostolic Faith Assembly
on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998, with the Rev. H.A. HILDERBRAND officiating.
Burial will be in Tower Heights Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m.
Tuesday at the Union Funeral Home, West Frankfort, and after noon
Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. GARNER was born on March 18, 1925, in West Frankfort, the
daughter of Arnold and Lena (BAKER) OLIVER.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Apostolic Faith
Assembly in West Frankfort.
Survivors include four daughters, Pam (Bob) BURNETT, Benton; Becky
(Jon) HATCHETT, West Frankfort, Ranelle JOHNSON of Benton, Elaine LEEK
of Rice Lake, Wisc.; one son, Randy JOHNSON of Boulder, Col.; nine
grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two
sisters, Norma MOSLEY, West Frankfort, Carthell RHORBACKER of West
Frankfort, a brother, Gary SHOEMAKER, West Frankfort.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Odell TESSONE and
a daughter, Cheryl JOHNSON.
