a. Note:   tivo and Filippa Tomasello. He was educatedat the University of Chicago and Loyola University, where in 1939 hereceived a medical degree. Dr. Restivo served honorably in the armedforces during World War II as a flight surgeon in the 335th Squadron 4thFighter Group in the U.S. Army Air Corp. In Denver, Dr. Restivo was awell-established internist who cared for thousands of patients over morethan four decades; he was based out of Exempla St. Joseph and the formerMercy hospitals in Denver. In his free time, Dr. Restivo was an avidgolfer who enjoyed the challenge and camaraderie of the game. In hisearlier years, he was an equally enthusiastic tennis player and was adedicated walker throughout his life. He was preceded in death by hisparents and eight brothers and sisters. He was married to Maida BlandMatthews and Margaret Ann Trucco, both of whom also preceded him indeath. He leaves to cherish his memory daughters Phyllis Carnahan (Gene),Anne Restivo, Elena Hamilton (Robert), Monica Restivo, and Norma Restivo;sons Jack Restivo, Jr. (Ana), Michael Restivo, Anthony Restivo(Stephanie), Paul Restivo, and Thomas Restivo (Elizabeth). Belovedgrandchildren are Winston Armani, Malia Armani, Timothy Hamilton, DominicRestivo, William Restivo, Joseph Restivo, Alexander Restivo, and OliviaRestivo. Visitation will be at Fairmount Mortuary chapel, 430 S. QuebecSt., Denver, at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, with Rosary to follow at 7p.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Victory Chapel, 2566 Sable Blvd.,Aurora, at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6. Interment in FairmountMausoleum.
