Notes
a. Note:   My DNA on Ancestry is show that it is most likely that Randolph Cook's Henderson wife, daughter
of Thomas and Frances Henderson is also the
mother of Rutha Cook and most likely the mother
to the rest of Randolph Cook's kids.
I have been looking through the info on Randolph Cook and I am confused on their birth years. Look below at the census records.
It look like the Randolph Cook who came to Franklin Co. Il. might have been Randolph Cook Jr. born about 1790.

This census has Randolph's birth year as 1781-1790 and wife's as1791-1800
also Randolph is listed as Jr.?
 ****************************************************************************************************************************************
The birth year for Randolph Cook would
have to be wrong on the 1830 and 1840 census also why was he listed asJr. on the 1840 cesus? Could the Randolph Cook that came to Ill.
 be Randolph's son?
Randolph's son James H. M. Cook has a grandson named James Henderson Cook. It is a possibility that James H. M. Cook born about 1812 middle name is
Henderson. This making it possible that he was named after his mother if Randolph did marry the daughter of Frances Henderson, Wife of Thomas
Henderson of Laurens Co, SC. Randolph shows up in an estate document of Frances Henderson, Wife of Thomas Henderson of Laurens Co, SC as ason-in-law,
the document was filed about 1813 in Laurens Co. William Randolph is the son of James H. M. Cook.
Here is something else I think could be possible.
Randolph may also have been married twice. Second to Mary Potter and first to a Henderson woman, name unknown, daughter of Thomas and FrancesHenderson.
I think it is possible that Randolph Jr. born about 1790 was the son of Randolph born 1768 and the Henderson woman. If Randolph Cook Jr. got married
about 1810-1811 at about 21 years old then James H. M. Cook could possibly be his son and not Randolph Cook Sr.
