Note: I have my DNA on Family Tree DNA and matched 5 other people who also descend thru Robert Baker from Williamson County Illinois.
We all matched on the same spot on our 9th chromosome. Myself
and another Baker descendant connected to Robert Earl Strong.
Robert also matched us on the same spot on the 9th chromosome
meaning that he too would connect to our Baker line somewhere.
I looked through Robert's tree and he has a Moses Cox who was
born in New Jersey and moved to Jersey Settlement Rowan County
North Carolina at the same time as Timothy Anderson who was
connected to William Baker. Also Joseph Hendrickson who married
Elizabeth Baker daughter of Robert Baker, Joseph's family also
came from New Jersey and moved to Jersey Settlement Rowan County
North Carolina.
There is no evidentces that William Baker's family came from New
Jersey so it is possible that William Baker's wife or possibly his
mother was connected to Moses Cox's family.

mom's parents. It looks likely that William Baker's wife Ann could
have been a daughter of Moses Cox.
