a. Note:   radition to name your first son after your father,that is why there were so many children by the name of Giacomo. Then theyadopted Giuseppe Damoto (Joe Restivo) in 1899. They then lost a girl bythe name of Gicomina. They then had Giacomo in 1901. They lost an otherson by the name of Salvatore. They then had three more sons, Salvatore(Sam), Angelo and Cateno (Cottie). Maria and all of her boys came toAmerica on 11-Aug-1911 on the ship "SS Duca di Genova". They went toYatesboro to meet up with Papa Se. Maria lost an other child there in1912. She then in 1913 had a son by the name of Carlo. Some time betweenhis birth and 1915 the family moved to Freeman Spur Illinois. Maria hadgiven birth to a son by the name of Liborio on 15-Nov-1915 and died fromcomplications from the birth. The family tried to feed Liborio by dippingrages into milk and letting him suckles them. This was not getting himenough milk and he too past away on 29-Nov-1915. Both Maria and Liborioare buried at San Carlo Cemetery in Herrin Illinois.
