Duncan Sheriff, Monroe Baker and Petit Larceny And Wm. W. Clemens State's Attorney. Henry Baker Attest, W. H. Eubanks Clerk WHEREAS, at the January Term , A. D. 1879, of the Circuit Court ofWilliamson County, in the State of Illinois an indictment for Gameingagainst Monroe Baker and Henry Baker was by the Grand Jury of said countyduly returned into Open Court, on which indictment the bail was afterwardfixed by said court at the sum of one Hundred Dollars; and the same wasordered to be certified to the County Court of said County for processand trial and whereas on to wit the 22nd day of January A. D. 1880, thesaid indictment was so certified and filed in said County Court when andwhereby the same became a matter of record therein. AND WHEREAS,afterward, in pursuance of said Indictment, before W. B. Meredith one ofthe constables of Williamson County, to wit: On the 6th day of December1880, the said Henry Baker made his recognizance in the sum of oneHundred Dollars for his appearance at the County Court of said County, onthe first day of December Term, 1880, thereof, to answer to saidIndictment, which recognizance was then and there approved and certifiedby said Constable, and was afterward filed in said County Court, wherebyit became a matter of record therein; AND WHEREAS, the day is now come when by said recognizance the said HenryBaker bound to appear: Now come the People, by Wm. W. Clemens, theState's Attorney, and the said Defendant, being three times solemnlycalled, comes not, nor anyone for him, but makes default; J. M. Chenowethand T. B. Ward security for the said Henry Baker in said recognizancebeing (blank) also now three times solemnly called that they produce thebody of the said Defendant , and they also failing therein, thereupon ITIS ORDERED BY THE COURT that the default of the said Defendant and of hissecurity be entered of record, and that a scire facias issue hereinagainst said Henry Baker J. M. Chenoweth and T. B.
