Mr. ISAACS, was born in Thompsonville, Jan. 24, 1878, the son of Page and Nancy BAIN ISAACS. He married Ida CHARLTON. [sic] Mr. ISAACS was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America, and a member of the Sunfield Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife; sons, Orville C. and Louis R., both of Rt. 3, Du Quoin; daughters Mrs. Howard BISHOP of Rt. 3, Du Quoin, and Mrs. Howard GILLIAM of Rt. 1, Tamaroa; a sister, Mrs. Lou EVANS of Denver, Colo.; and 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Eleven brothers and sisters, a grandchild, and a great-grandchild preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Keeling Funeral Home in Du Quoin, with the Rev. Lloyd HAGEL officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call after 6p.m. today.
