  3. Mary H. (Nicholson) Story, age 32, was lving with Henrietta G. Bordley in 1850. Additional reasoning that this Mary H. NIcholson was a daughter of Joseph Hopper Nicholson(abt 1777-1819):
  a. There were only 4 Nicholson famiies ( all related) in Queen Anne's and Kent Counties at the time none of which had a daughter named Mary or a daughter Mary not otherwise accounted for.
  b. From the 1810 and 1820 Census records, it appears that Joseph Hopper NIcholson (abt 1777-1819) had 4 children, two boys and two girls.
  c. Mary's middle initial "H" may stand for "Hopper". If so, this would indicate that she came from one of two lines: Joseph Nicholson Sr. (1709-1787) from his second marriage to Mary Hopper (I think this is the only reasonable conclusion) or through Joseph Nicholson Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Hopper. Joseph Nicholson Jr.'s son, William Hopper Nicholson did have a daughter Mary; however, her name was Mary "E." and clearly married someone else.
  d. If this Mary H. Nicholson was the daughter of Joseph Hopper Nicholson and Charlotte Gibson, her grandmother was Mary "H"opper.
  e. Mary H. (Nicholson) Story, age 32, was lving with Henrietta G. (Nicholson) Bordley in 1850
  4. Proof that Mary H. Nicholson was the sister of Henrietta (Nicholson) Bordley.
